SO-SHE-A-LIE-ZING

One of the hardest social situations that i had to face was starting a conversation with someone whom you know very little about or even nothing. It turns out even harder for people like me who are Introverts.I still remember me taking two months to say a "HI" to this chick who lives down the road.I am not so big on interacting with people in the real world. It is said that sometime's a look is all that is needed to start off,you give him/her a genuine 3 second's smile and you may be surprised when the object of your happiness starts a conversation with you instead.but it can't happen every time and to everyone. You need to ask them questions that will get your conversation to the interesting part of that person and then be truly interested in listening.Well for this to happen i do not think you need to be an extrovert ,you just need to trust that you will find the other person interesting and of course vice versa because everyone one of us who is out there is curious, very curious indeed. The question now is how to get your conversation to that interesting part of that someone.I would say its more or less like a Trial and Error.Practice makes one perfect.

There are people in this world who literally do not know how to respond to a casual greeting " HI ".In India if a male approaches some random chick on the walk way and says "Hi" you will get a reaction which you may have never seen before or if it was to a chick with The " ATTITUDE " factor you just said " Hi " well you get to see the middle finger ha ha or the moment we say " Hi " they start to think "Oh god, look its another guy who is trying to get me in bed with him".The worst thing i have noticed is that these type of reactions are from the educated one's.That reminds me of the two month's "hi" chick.I said hi to her finally and she said my hi to her dad,wow so grateful, thank you, hmmm. Why is it so hard to start a conversation with a girl down here.Every man is not the same and they all do not have the same intentions do they.Who ever said only a man has bad intentions.ha..

So i continue my journey of "Hi" further ahead.Social networking websites.I don't think i need to mention any in particular but there are many. There are many out there stating out, i am interested in making new friends,am jovial, out going blah blah blah, ooooh i jus love making new friends, but when it comes to really making friends those words just disappear.I don't think i am the only victim or whatever you call it when it comes to making friends through social network sites.Disappointed,i am.Some write it out so clearly that they have no attitude and they are not egoistic or even sometimes point out that they hate people with attitude. To say the truth they are the ones in Vain. What do you gain by being or showing an excessively high opinion of oneself. People are filled with so much of pride in one's appearance, qualities and abilities that they literally do not figure it out when someone really appreciates them and just for the sake of it.We come across some unique types of specimen's everyday but we never know what lies beneath their mask.Maybe i am wrong but is it wrong to ask for some genuine friends.Am not even asking for the best place in the list of friends am i. I guess i narrowed it down too much to the other sex but yes there are guys too who are self centered and a big show off. I don have anythin to show off or else i would have.lol...

we're not used to it round here man...
dude the last time a random guy came up n said hi to me while i was waiting for a friend i was forced to give him the "go away freakazoid" look coz he well invited me to go to the beach with him the next line ( based on a true incident outside ashvita waiting for balaji, ask him urself i'm not making this up )

secondly, a nice guy like u will get a good response from nice girls like me, so the next time u get the urge to start a conversation with a random person(boy/girl) come down to chennai and i will pretend i dont know u for a few mins....

  5. LOL Dont get Sun started dude ;) .. Btw nice post man .. as far as Indian chicks are concerned the open-minded types you are talking about(including sun ;) ) are handful .. others are either overcautious and prejudiced .. When it comes to socializing they are mostly hypocrites ..

  7. dude..i swear u analysed the scenario and came down with a sort of conclusion thats unfortunately true in our country. but there are some girls who do respond to a mere "hi". the thing is, the percentage of that kind of girl in india is limited. so, bottomline is ..life is not gonna be legendary , its gonna be lame and awesome ..hahah

  8. Well its pretty simple, just like how you wouldn't wanna greet any girl you bump into with a "hi" (im forced to get down to your tone) I say a girl too has her rights to pick a man. I hope you get where im coming to, if a girl finds you attractive she would definitely respond, if she doesnt, just bite the bullet and try someone of a lower scale.

Well i do not know who are you,but what you have said is true but then i wouldn't go and say a "Hi" to every single girl i see on the road, even if i do so i am just asking them out for a friendly time out, not asking them to jump into the bed,am i. Yes a girl has every right to pick the type of man she has in her mind but how will she know unless she tries to get to know about the other.Lol anyway nice comment, would be glad if you can add your name in the next posts if there are any.
